SR25-M110K Sniper Rifle Replica
A replica manufactured by the renowned ARES company. Thanks to a license from American Knight’s Armament Company, a manufacturer of the live firearm original, the User can feast his eyes on the authentic designation and markings on the receiver as well as the characteristic graphical KAC logo with a helmet and a shield. M110 is a semi-automatic sniper rifle used by US Army and USMS soldiers since 2007. M110 is a perfected and modern version of the known and popular SR25 rifle.
The appearance of the replica has been carefully replicated in compliance with the live firearm original including the trigger guard, double-sided magazine release button and bolt-catch along with the chassis shape. One can boldly claim that it is one of the best (if not the best) replicas of this type of rifles that have ever appeared on the market. The cherry on top of the realism is the ability to mount the original stock with the stock slide from the live firearm. The replica features adjustable, slant, flip-up iron sights. The external barrel has a right-handed, 14 mm thread which boasts a flash hider.
The replica was made mainly of high-quality aluminum alloy, namely - the entire receiver, external barrel, stock slide, etc. The stock and pistol grip were made of durable polymer. Space intended for a battery is located inside the fixed stock.
M110K is equipped with a set of front URX free float mounting rails. Thanks to RIS 22 mm mounting rails, including a long, top rail, there is the possibility of the installation of a wide array of additional accessories, starting with optical sights, through lighting and ending up with tactical grips. The set includes a set of 3 protective panels for the aforementioned rails. The replica is equipped with two QD tactical sling swivels - enabling the detachment with one press of a button. The front swivel is attached to a RIS rail.
Access to the Hop-Up chamber is gained in a traditional way - after pulling back the charging handle. An interesting detail is the operational, double-sided bolt-catch button. The replica can fire in full-auto mode, despite the lack of appropriate markings near the fire mode selector. Furthermore, the set includes a solid, made of metal mount for optics featuring two rings with a diameter of 30 mm.
Like many other ARES replicas, M110K also has the ability to rapidly replace the spring without having to disassemble the gearbox frame. The heart of this replica consists of a reinforced, slightly modified gearbox V2, with an integrated EFCS - Electronic Firing Control System module. It controls the operation of the trigger box, allowing for a smooth operation and, above all, shortens the motor reaction time to a squeeze of the trigger. A standard connector cube was replaced with an electronic system. EFCS has an in-built MOSFET module.
EFCS significantly prolongs the lifetime of the mechanism, thus of the entire replica and allows to use a high-voltage battery, including LiPo.
The replica comes with a metal Mid-Cap magazine in metal color with a capacity of up to 140 BBs.

Indications v2, v3, v6 does not mean the level of advance, but only shape of gearbox skeleton which was used and selected by the manufacturer depending on the capabilities of the body of the replica. For example, a models of the M4/M16 family, MP5, have a v2 gearbox, while the AK family have gearbox v3.
Hop-Up system is used for overclocking bb during the shot (putting it in rotation), through which, it extends its flight path. Acting laws of physics make that bb lift up, while the gravitational force take it down. Appropriate adjustment of Hop-Up, will compensate for these two factors, which result in long and straight flight for longer distance and be greater focus shot (to improve accuracy).
