LMG Light Machine Gun replica
CA063M from Classic Army is a replica of LMG – a light machine gun model based on Eugene Stoner's design. The LMG is recognized as the lightest 5,56mm fed support machine gun on the market. Its airsoft version is also embodiment of the 'light machine gun' term – it weights only 4300g (without magazine).
The replica is mostly made from metal. Body, outer barrel and RIS rails were made from high quality aluminum using CNC precision machinery. Only parts made from polymer are pistol grip, magazine casing as well as additional accessories included, namely RIS panels and front vertical grip. A few small elements, such as flash hider, were made from steel.
The machine gun comes with standard 22mm RIS rails on handguard and on top of the receiver, which allows for various additional accessories mounted. Thanks to telescopic, 6-position stock the shooter can adjust the machine gun length for his built and preferences. Next to pistol grip the comfortable ambidextrous safety is located. The pistol grip itself can be changed for any grip for M4/M16 model.
The STICK type accumulator (max 25mm diameter) is stored under the barrel, in the gas pipe replica. To change the accumulator whole barrel segment must be removed, which takes only few moments thanks to quick dismantling system. It only takes to press lever located next to upper cover and the barrel is literally pushed out from the body. Under the cover the Hop-Up adjustment knob is also located.
The heart of the replica is a special reinforced gearbox with 8mm ball bearings. One huge advantage is a quick spring change system which allows for fast adjusting the replica for conditions of airsoft battlefield. The shooting effectiveness is guaranteed by 410mm long 6,08mm diameter inner barrel.
The replica is fed from electric BOX type 1200 rounds magazine. The magazine is powered by a single 9V(PP3) battery. The magazine casing is made from polymer and put in a camouflage nylon cover.
The Classic Army's LMG is a perfect choice for any airsoft player wanting to become support gunner but searching for construction lighter and more ergonomic than bulky M249 or PKM machine guns. Operating the LMG machine gun is almost as comfortable as wielding classic assault rifle.

Akumulator NiCd cechuje się dużą wydajnością prądową, ale występuje w nich uciążliwy efekt pamięci. Powinny być rozładowywane i ładowane w pełnych cyklach, tj. zaleca się pełne rozładowanie, a po rozładowaniu należy akumulator niezwłocznie naładować nie pozostawiając go na dłużej w stanie rozładowanym.
Akumulatory NiMH charakteryzują się szybszym czasem samorozładowania i krótszą żywotnością - z drugiej strony, osiągają one ok. 30% więcej pojemności.
Blow Back (BB) jest to system imitujący pracę zamka (odrzut podczas wystrzału), który spotykany jest najczęściej w modelach gazowych pistoletów i karabinów, jednakże co raz częściej pojawia się on także w replikach elektrycznych. Dzięki temu, strzelanie staje się bardziej zbliżone do ostrych odpowiedników, co zwiększa realizm podczas rozgrywek. Za każdym naciśnięciem za spust, replice towarzyszy tzw. "kopnięcie", czyli odrzut spowodowany zwrotnym ruchem zamka.
W modelach gazowych, system blowback działa dzięki przeznaczonej na ten cel większej części gazu, natomiast w replikach elektrycznych, zamek poruszany jest dzięki pracy silnika napędzającego cały mechanizm.
Jest to prędkość kulki, w momencie opuszczenia przez nią lufy repliki. Mierzona jest w FPS (stopy na sekundę).

Oznaczenia v2, v3, v6 nie oznaczają stopnia zaawansowania mechanizmu ,a jedynie kształt zastosowanego szkieletu, który dobierany jest przez producenta w zależności od możliwości korpusu repliki. Przykładowo, repliki z rodziny M4/M16, MP5, mają gearbox v2, natomiast rodzina AK czy G36 gearbox v3.
System Hop-Up służy do podkręcania kulki podczas wystrzału (wprowadzenie jej w obrót rotacyjny), dzięki któremu, przedłuża ona swój tor lotu. Działające prawa fizyki, powodują iż obrót kulki unosi ją do góry, natomiast siły grawitacyjne naturalnie ją przyciągają. Odpowiednie wyregulowanie Hop-Up, spowoduje wyrównanie tych dwóch zjawisk, co zaowocuje długim i prostym lotem na dłuższym dystansie oraz większeym skupieniem strzału (poprawienie celności).
