FC-103 Carbine Replica
A series of American rifle replicas by ForceCore Industries has hit in numbers the
popular on airsoft market “M type replicas under 1000 PLN” section and can
courageously compete with other manufacturers. Characteristic features of ForceCore replicas are the solid craftsmanship of the
exterior, almost 100% “full metal” construction, efficient and stable
stock performance as well as a wide array of interesting and original models.
The quality of craftsmanship allows us to compare
ForceCore products without any second thoughts with
pricier products from well-known brands. Specific elements of the replica, such
as both parts of the body and handguard were fitted
together exceptionally well and it is difficult to pinpoint any loose
spots. In addition, the body features effective, laser engraved manufacturer
markings with a characteristic “frog” of Navy Seal Team.
Parts made from a durable alloy of zinc
and aluminum include, among others, the entire body with RIS rails, outer
barrel, buffer tube, flash hider and all manner of manipulators. Remaining
elements such as pistol grip, magazine and AN/PEQ case for the battery– like in
the original – were made from a polymer. A frame stock was made from
steel.
The top of the body has a long, 22mm, RIS
mounting rail, which allows for
attachment of additional accessories such as optical sights. It also features a
set of flip-up iron sights. The outer barrel has a 14mm, left-hand
thread finish with a flash hider mounted on it. The base of the buffer tube
has two QD tactical sling swivels.
It also has a special shape pistol grip,
slightly thicker than standard grips used in M type replicas. A dedicated
battery (included in the set) ideally fits inside the AN/PEQ case replica also
included in the set.
The heart of the replica is a gearbox V.2, which
includes, among others, 8mm ball bearings, a set of steel gears
and a metal spring slide. What is more, a tight, metal nozzle and a
dedicated Hop-Up chamber was used. The system has a uniquely well fitted parts
and a very good tightness at stock.
FC-103 is a specific hybrid, fed with
magazines from a FN P90 submachine gun replica. The bottom part of the
body is a standard issue for this type of replicas, however, the upper part is
a conversion. It also features a modified Hop-Up chamber, which
has an adjustment knob located inside the magazine well.
The replica comes with a polymer, low-cap P90
magazine with a capacity of up to 50 BBs.

rechargeable battery is characterized by high efficiency
current-carrying capacity, but there are disruptive effect on memory.
Should be unloaded and loaded in the full cycle, ie, it is recommended
to fully discharge, and after unloading must charge the battery
immediately without leaving it for a long time in a discharged state.
NiMH batteries have a higher self-discharge over time and shorten the
life - on the other hand, they earn about 30% more capacity.
Blow back is a simulation system of the cocking lever - it imitates the work of it as the equivalent sharp. This system raises the realism and adds a lot more experience during shooting.
It is the spped of bb, while its leaving the innerbarrel of replica. This speed is measured in FPS (Feet Per Second).

Indications v2, v3, v6 does not mean the level of advance, but only shape of gearbox skeleton which was used and selected by the manufacturer depending on the capabilities of the body of the replica. For example, a models of the M4/M16 family, MP5, have a v2 gearbox, while the AK family have gearbox v3.
Hop-Up system is used for overclocking bb during the shot (putting it in rotation), through which, it extends its flight path. Acting laws of physics make that bb lift up, while the gravitational force take it down. Appropriate adjustment of Hop-Up, will compensate for these two factors, which result in long and straight flight for longer distance and be greater focus shot (to improve accuracy).
