A&K Cybergun M249 PARAairsoft machine gun
The M249 machine gun adopted by the US Army in the 1980s is a 5.56mm calibre rifle. The presented variant of the M249 PARA was designed with landing craft in mind, which translates, among other things, into a folding stock that will enable the rifle to be quickly shortened by several centimetres, making it easier to transport and move with it. The presented airsoft machine gun from A&K bears the markings of the Belgian firearms manufacturer FN Hersal (Licensed by Cybergun). The M249 PARA model was made of steel, aluminium and durable polymer.
The following are made of steel: folding bipod, barrel lock levers, replica body, bail, screws, pins, ammunition belt feeder window, reloading handle guides.
The following are made of aluminium: block gas airsoft gun, exhaust device, bipod base, mechanical sights, reloading handle, external barrel, folding stock and RIS rail, which will allow the installation of additional accessories such as a scope or red dot sight.
The barrel protector, buttstock, trigger lock switch, pistol grip and trigger guard are made of durable polymer ,
A box magazine powered by two AA batteries (not included) is included. The magazine has an auto and sound control mode. At the same time, the replica has the ability to handle magazines found in M4/M16 type carbines.
Inside the replica, we will find the M249 gearbox, which has been equipped with a quick-change spring system, The gearbox contains, among others, 18:1 gears, 8mm bearings, a piston with a full steel jaw, an aluminium piston head, an aluminium cylinder head, an aluminium nozzle, an M120 mainspring.
The M249 PARA replica o a superb airsoft machine gun that will satisfy many a fan of the equipment that the US Army is equipped with.
A faithful appearance, FN Hersal licence markings (Licensed by Cybergun), a capacious box for 2,500 BBs, and a quick-release barrel system for easy transport are among the many advantages of the rifle, which is sure to stand out on the airsoft field.
NiCd
rechargeable battery is characterized by high efficiency
current-carrying capacity, but there are disruptive effect on memory.
Should be unloaded and loaded in the full cycle, ie, it is recommended
to fully discharge, and after unloading must charge the battery
immediately without leaving it for a long time in a discharged state.
NiMH batteries have a higher self-discharge over time and shorten the
life - on the other hand, they earn about 30% more capacity.
It is the spped of bb, while its leaving the innerbarrel of replica. This speed is measured in FPS (Feet Per Second).
1 FPS = 0,3 m/s
1 J = 99 m/s
1 J = 326,7 FPS
Indications v2, v3, v6 does not mean the level of advance, but only shape of gearbox skeleton which was used and selected by the manufacturer depending on the capabilities of the body of the replica. For example, a models of the M4/M16 family, MP5, have a v2 gearbox, while the AK family have gearbox v3.
Hop-Up system is used for overclocking bb during the shot (putting it in rotation), through which, it extends its flight path. Acting laws of physics make that bb lift up, while the gravitational force take it down. Appropriate adjustment of Hop-Up, will compensate for these two factors, which result in long and straight flight for longer distance and be greater focus shot (to improve accuracy).
