Cybergun MP40 CO2 airsoft machine pistol
Airsoft version of the famous WWII German MP40 submachine gun - the Maschinenpistole 40 - often incorrectly referred to as the Schmeisser. The MP40 pistol was a development version of another PM, the MP38, which was an extremely modern design, but at the same time difficult to manufacture. In the spring of 1940, German motor ers started a new design, and the submachine gun itself - already named the MP40 - was characterised by the use of, among other things, the steel sheet stamping method, which simplified the production process. The MP40 is the symbol of the German soldier during the Second World War. The distinctive shape makes the model one of the most recognisable PMs in history. Approximately 1.1 million were produced by the end of the war.
The presented airsoft version from Cybergun is powered by two CO2 capsules. It was made of metal and polymer. Among others, the upper barrel, the magazine seat, the magazine fed by CO2 capsules for 30 BBs, the base of the comb and the cover of the musket together with the stock foot are made of steel . The outer barrel is made of aluminium, as are the reloading handle, vehicle shooting hook, sling eyelet and stock. The lower body and pistol grip are made of polymer.
The gun has two safety features - in order to reload the weapon, the reloading handle must be pulled to the left - otherwise it will be locked. At the same time, there is a trigger lock switch underneath the gun.
The MP40 from Cybergun, just like its combustible counterpart, fires from an open breech , which allows, by the way, to enjoy a strong recoil and a great-looking cycle of the whole system, including the breech, which retracts backwards after firing.

Blow back is a simulation system of the cocking lever - it imitates the work of it as the equivalent sharp. This system raises the realism and adds a lot more experience during shooting.

Hop-Up system is used for overclocking bb during the shot (putting it in rotation), through which, it extends its flight path. Acting laws of physics make that bb lift up, while the gravitational force take it down. Appropriate adjustment of Hop-Up, will compensate for these two factors, which result in long and straight flight for longer distance and be greater focus shot (to improve accuracy).
