The vendor is liable to the buyer under the warranty for product defects (in the event of such defects) only if the buyer/user uses the product for its intended purpose, i.e. for purposes other than protective purposes, including the use during tactical/war/ASG games.
The lack of any protective properties of the product is a feature, not a product defect, and therefore it does not constitute a physical defect of the product within the meaning of the Polish Civil Code.
EGM A4 STD submachine gun replica
EGM is a replica belonging to the economic class of G&G replicas. The manufacturer has managed to combine high quality with a low price by using plastic material to make the receiver. The elements made from metal are the iron sights, trigger, outer barrel, sling mount and bolt cover, while the receiver was made of durable plastic reinforced with fibreglass and painted in matte black. Just as in the real steel, the stock, front grip and pistol grip are made of polymer. The replica features very high quality of workmanship, so apart from the slightly smaller weight, at the first glance it is not different from the standard, metal version.
The replica has a fixed stock fitted to hold a battery. The battery itself can be plugged in after demounting the rubber buttpad. To gain access to the hop-up chamber we need to pull back the charging handle and lock it in the back position. The fire selector has graphic markings of fire modes and is located on both sides of the receiver, which allows left-handed people to use it without problems. After unscrewing a pad on the flash hider, a 14mm thread can be found allowing to install a silencer.
The replica is equipped with an amazing Blow Back system, which imitates the work of its counterpart in a real steel version. The dummy bolt moves back and forth, delivering a noticable recoil to the shooter's shoulder, ensuring additional realism and offering more of a “real feel” to shooting. The Pneumatic Blow-Back system operates on the principal of taking a part of the compressed air from the gearbox to a special cylinder that is located above the gearbox’s casing. The small piston that is located in the Pneumatic Blow-Back system moves a thin plate that is attached to it. The plate imitates the bolt carrier.
WARNING: the manufacturer does not advise to use a battery stronger than 8,4V in view of the possibility of damaging the said metal plate.
The gearbox is equipped with 8mm ball bearings, brass cylinder head and an aluminium piston head.
The package does not include a battery nor a charger
The package includes:
- the replica of a carbine
- a magazine holding 60 BBs
Blow back is a simulation system of the cocking lever - it imitates the work of it as the equivalent sharp. This system raises the realism and adds a lot more experience during shooting.
It is the spped of bb, while its leaving the innerbarrel of replica. This speed is measured in FPS (Feet Per Second).
1 FPS = 0,3 m/s
1 J = 99 m/s
1 J = 326,7 FPS
Indications v2, v3, v6 does not mean the level of advance, but only shape of gearbox skeleton which was used and selected by the manufacturer depending on the capabilities of the body of the replica. For example, a models of the M4/M16 family, MP5, have a v2 gearbox, while the AK family have gearbox v3.
Hop-Up system is used for overclocking bb during the shot (putting it in rotation), through which, it extends its flight path. Acting laws of physics make that bb lift up, while the gravitational force take it down. Appropriate adjustment of Hop-Up, will compensate for these two factors, which result in long and straight flight for longer distance and be greater focus shot (to improve accuracy).
