Renomowana firma EMG prezentuje serię Helios - linię replik oferującą repliki klasy premium w atrakcyjnej cenie. Przy budowie repliki KAC SR-16E Mod2 zastosowano kompromis w postaci polimerowego, wytrzymałego korpusu. Reszta części zewnętrznych jak i wewnętrznych jest jednak standardowa.
Na korpus naniesiono oznaczenia palnego odpowiednika - Knight's Armament.
Wygląd repliki został drobiazgowo odwzorowany w zgodzie częściami licencjonowanymi do palnego oryginału. Lufa zewnętrzna została zakończona 14mm, lewoskrętnym gwintem, na którym osadzono tłumik płomienia. Replikę wyposażono w szynę montażową zgodną z systemem M-LOK. Na grzbietowej szynie umieszczono składane przyrządy celownicze.
Replikę wyposażono w wygodną, polimerową kolbę mieszczącą akumulator.
Dzięki grzbietowej szynie montażowej RIS 22mm i szyn akcesoryjnych w standardzie M-LOK mamy możliwość instalacji całej gamy akcesoriów dodatkowych, począwszy od celowników optycznych, aż po oświetlenie i chwyty taktyczne. Replika posiada 1 punkt mocowania zawieszenia taktycznego typu QD - umożliwiające wypięcie za jednym naciśnięciem.
Dostęp do komory hop-up uzyskuje się klasycznie, po odciągnięciu rączki przeładowania. Powiększony zwalniacz magazynka usprawnia i uprzyjemnia korzystanie z repliki.
Replika posiada system szybkiej wymiany sprężyny bez konieczności rozkręcania szkieletu gearboxa. Sercem repliki jest wzmocniony, nieco zmodyfikowany gearbox v.2, posiadający zintegrowany moduł EFCS - Electronic Firing Control System. Kontroluje on prace zespołu spustowego, powodując płynną prace oraz skraca czas reakcji silnika na wciśnięcie spustu. Standardowa kostka stykowa została zastąpiona systemem elektronicznym. EFCS posiada także wbudowany układ MOSFET. Replika jest kompatybilna z programatorami gearboxa produkcji ARES.
EFCS wydatnie zwiększa żywotność mechanizmu, a dzięki temu całej repliki oraz pozwala na zastosowanie baterii o wysokim napięciu, w tym LiPo.
Magazynek dołączony do repliki to wykonany ze stali hi-cap, który pomieści 300 kulek.
