The JG1938 which is made by the JG company is the continuation of one of the JG company’s most known replicas – the JG0608 which is a legend among the airsoft players. The replica, just like the original firearm is made mostly of light and durable plastic. The barrel and the RIS rail is made of metal. The body is nice in touch and resistant to mechanical damage and its proper balancing in combination with its light weight improves its overall maneuverability which is additionally increased by the application of the stock which folds to the side.
The whole is made in a modular system what allows for an easy change of the magazine well for the M4/M15/M16 standard one. Another important feature which improves the usability value of the replica is the ambidextrous firing mode selection lever. The stock’s foot and the cheek pad are made of anti-skid rubber.

Indications v2, v3, v6 does not mean the level of advance, but only shape of gearbox skeleton which was used and selected by the manufacturer depending on the capabilities of the body of the replica. For example, a models of the M4/M16 family, MP5, have a v2 gearbox, while the AK family have gearbox v3.
Hop-Up system is used for overclocking bb during the shot (putting it in rotation), through which, it extends its flight path. Acting laws of physics make that bb lift up, while the gravitational force take it down. Appropriate adjustment of Hop-Up, will compensate for these two factors, which result in long and straight flight for longer distance and be greater focus shot (to improve accuracy).
