The Lightway-Peleador is a series of light AEG rifles made by the Taiwanese company ICS, based on the classic AR15 design The Lightway series, has most of it’s the external elements made of a polymer material reinforced with nylon fiber, which lowers it’s weight and makes it exceptionally more durable. The polymer was used to make the body, handguard, stock, pistol grip, sights, muzzle device and the magazine. The stock guide, outer barrel, dummy bolt and a shell ejector flap is made out of metal.
The replica uses a revolutionary, two-part ICS Split Gearbox with a quick spring change system and a number of reinforced parts made out of AL6061 aluminum. There is also the factory-fitted SSS Gen.1 E-Trigger System electronics and a Short-Stroke trigger.
