M40A5 Sniper Rifle Replica
An excellent M40A5 sniper rifle replica manufactured by one of the most recognizable airsoft companies - Tokyo Marui.
The cradle was made from highest quality polymer, the stock pad was made from thick and comfortable rubber. The barrel, trigger guard, trigger, charging handle and bolt carrier were made from metal. On the cradle, on the handguard and the pistol grip to be exact, a grained texture was used in order to provide better grip.
Above the bolt carrier is a RIS 22 mm mounting rail that enables the attachment of an optical sight to the replica. The stock pad and cheek pad alike can be adjusted, which allows for adapting the replica to the body type and preferences of the user. The set includes 4 spacers that can be placed under the stock in order to adjust the distance from the shoulder. At the bottom of the cradle is an anchor point for a bipod (not included in the set). A large and comfortable knob for Hop-Up system adjustment with clear scale located on the cradle allows for rapid adjustment depending on the needs and conditions occurring on the airsoft battlefield. The entire replica features 6 QD swivels for a tactical sling.
Internally the replica has also been made perfectly - as expected of all TM products. Parts fit very well together, which allows for good and stable performance straight out of the box. An interesting and rarely encountered element is the indicator in the center of the bolt’s base that informs whether the bolt is pulled or released. The pull weight of the trigger is adjustable, which allows to precisely adjust the reaction of the trigger, as expected of a true sniper rifle. What’s more, the replica is a bolt-action rifle with 30% shorter pull. All in all, it will effectively reduce vibrations and enhance accuracy of fired shots.

Hop-Up system is used for overclocking bb during the shot (putting it in rotation), through which, it extends its flight path. Acting laws of physics make that bb lift up, while the gravitational force take it down. Appropriate adjustment of Hop-Up, will compensate for these two factors, which result in long and straight flight for longer distance and be greater focus shot (to improve accuracy).
