he VZOR-1 NOVUS MDS-III
is a faithful reproduction of the Russian red dot sight, originally
manufactured by the renowned tuning parts producer Zenitco.
This optic is the Russian
response to the demand from law enforcement for smaller and lighter T1-type
sights, as opposed to the bulkier optics mounted on "dovetail" rails.
The MDS-III NOVUS, like
its predecessor, comes equipped with a plethora of accessories, allowing users
to customize it for various optic configurations on their replicas or firearms.
The kit includes three sight mounting platforms:
- NP-1 traditional screw platform (analogous to PN-1)
- NS-1 QD (Quick Detach) mount platform (analogous to PB-1)
- B45U offset platform
Additionally, the kit includes two height-adjustable bases:
- NS-30 Medium (analogous to PW-30, height 30mm)
- NS-39 High (analogous to PW-39, height 39mm)
This assortment of bases
facilitates convenient sight installation according to user preferences and
accommodates other optical devices in the setup. The kit also features lens covers for
added protection.
The sight, like other
NOVUS models, boasts high-quality construction and durability, suitable
