Snow Wolf SW-98 airsoft sniper rifle
A replica of the Russian SW-98 sniper rifle manufactured by Snow Wolf. The model was made mainly of metal, wood and polymer. Metal was used to make the breech chamber, the breech lever, the lock, the barrel, the sights and the dummy discharge device. The magazine is made of polymer. The butt was made of wood and fitted with a rubber butt stop.
Particularly noteworthy is the rifle's buttstock with adjustable cheekpiece, buttstock and monopod. In addition, the model is equipped with Uncle Mike (Harris) and L96 standard bipod mounts and a removable transport grip.
The interior of the replica combines solutions from the Tokyo Marui L96 and VSR system. The 24x195mm cylinder assembly, metal trigger assembly with 45° piston catch and ball feed system is modelled on the TM L96, so that the replica's magazine is in the same place as that of its combat counterpart. Meanwhile, the barrel assembly and Hop-Up are compatible with the VSR-10 system.

Hop-Up system is used for overclocking bb during the shot (putting it in rotation), through which, it extends its flight path. Acting laws of physics make that bb lift up, while the gravitational force take it down. Appropriate adjustment of Hop-Up, will compensate for these two factors, which result in long and straight flight for longer distance and be greater focus shot (to improve accuracy).
