Adoptada por el Ejército de EE.UU. en la década de 1980, la subfusil M249 es un fusil de calibre 5,56 mm que ha tenido la oportunidad de servir en muchos rincones del mundo durante las siguientes décadas, al tiempo que ha sido continuamente mejorada, dando lugar a dired dotsas variantes del arma, que fue diseñada originalmente como FN Minimi por el fabricante belga de armas de fuego FN Herstal.
La subfusil airsoft destacada de A&K lleva las marcas del fabricante belga de armas de fuego FN Hersal (con licencia de Cybergun). El modelo M249 MK II está fabricado en acero, aluminio y polímero.
Son de acero: el bípode plegable, las palancas de bloqueo del cañón, el cuerpo de la réplica, la fianza, los tornillos, los pasadores, la ventana del alimentador de la correa de munición y las guías de la manija de recarga.
Los siguientes están hechos de aluminio: réplica de bloque de gas, dispositivo de escape, base del bípode, asa de recarga, cañón externo.
De polímero resistente se han fabricado: la cabeza de cilindro, la empuñadura ergonómica de la pistola, el guardamonte, la bancada del cut off del seguro del gatillo.
Se incluye un cargador de caja que funciona con dos pilas AA (no incluidas). El cargador tiene un modo de control automático y de sonido. Al mismo tiempo, la réplica tiene la capacidad de manejar cargadores encontrados en fusils tipo M4/M16.
En el interior de la réplica, encontraremos la gearbox de la M249, que ha sido equipada con un sistema de resorte de cambio rápido, La gearbox contiene, entre otros, engranajes de 18:1, cojinetes de 8 mm, un pistón con una mandíbula completa de acero, una cabeza de pistón de aluminio, una cabeza de cilindro de aluminio, una tobera de aluminio, un resorte principal M120.
La réplica del M249 MK II es un excelente subfusil airsoft que satisfará a muchos aficionados al equipo que llevan el US Army y el USMC. For example, a models of the M4/M16 family, MP5, have a v2 gearbox, while the AK family have gearbox v3.
Hop-Up system is used for overclocking bb during the shot (putting it in rotation), through which, it extends its flight path. Acting laws of physics make that bb lift up, while the gravitational force take it down. Appropriate adjustment of Hop-Up, will compensate for these two factors, which result in long and straight flight for longer distance and be greater focus shot (to improve accuracy).
