LIBERATOR I tienen dos micrófonos activos (uno en cada auricular) que captan
los sonidos externos y los transmiten al operador de forma amplificada. El
usuario puede ajustar el nivel de volumen en función de sus necesidades. La
interfaz de control del nivel de audio se encuentra en el auricular izquierdo.
Los sonidos
nocivos se atenúan hasta un nivel seguro para los oídos. Una vez que el sonido
nocivo ha cesado, los ajustes de los auriculares vuelven a los niveles
normales. Los auriculares tienen una cinta ajustable recubierta de tela que
debe colocarse justo por encima del cuello del usuario. Su diseño permite
ajustarla a la cabeza de cualquier usuario.
