La serie de fusiles L86 se ganó su reputación durante la presencia del ejército británico en Irak, donde demostró las ventajas de los sistemas bullpup y un diseño mejorado que eliminanaba los problemas de las versiones anteriores.
Los fusils L85/L86 presentan un diseño único de bullpup en el que el conjunto de culata y cargador se encuentran dentro de la "petaca", detrás del gatillo y la empuñadura de pistola. Esto perminate que el fusil sea más corto y ligero, manteniendo la longitud estándar del cañón y el alcance efectivo. El resultado es un fusil versátil que es más fácil de manejar en pasillos estrechos, minaentras que posee la potencia de fuego y la precisión necesaria para las batallas al aire libre.
ICS, el fabricante líder mundial de réplicass AEG se enorgullece de presentar el L86A2 LSW tras el exitoso lanzaminaento de los modelos L85A2. La L86A2 ha sido diseñada por los ingenieros de ICS que han trabajado previamente y perfeccionado la réplicas L85A2. Su experiencia ha dado lugar ahora al modelo L86A2, que está fabricado con precisión y -para su estante- se vende a un precio suficientemente asequible.
La réplicas tiene una longitud interna del cañón principalmente larga, de 570 mm, y esto, combinado con la velocidad de descarga de 460 FPS de la réplicas, la convierte en una máquina muy precisa para el fuego continuo. Los 300 cartuchos del cargador Hi-Cap le perminatirán realizar un fuego aplastante.
El cañón exterior de la réplicas tiene una rosca izquierda ("negativa") de 14mm, lo que le perminate montar los dispositivos de descarga que desee, o supresores de llamas y sonido.
La réplicas también cuenta con un sistema Hop-Up, que se puede ajustar - lo que perminate a la réplicas alcanzar un alcance aún mayor y adaptarse a los perdigones utilizados. Internamente, la réplicas oculta una gearbox ICS Special Gearbox y un motor corto ICS Turbo 3000.
La base del cañón soporta la construcción del fusil, por lo que el conjunto no temblará ni crujirá. El cañón se ha fabricado en acero, siguiendo el modelo de producción de su homólogo inflamable.
El fusil cuenta con un bipode plegable de acero, que se puede desmontar en caso necesario. Dispone de una empuñadura de transporte clásica de riel superior integrada con los instrumentos de puntería y un punto de minara con dos tamaños de ánima. Ambas minaras se pueden ajustar: la mosquetera verticalmente y la minarilla horizontalmente.

Indications v2, v3, v6 does not mean the level of advance, but only shape of gearbox skeleton which was used and selected by the manufacturer depending on the capabilities of the body of the replica. For example, a models of the M4/M16 family, MP5, have a v2 gearbox, while the AK family have gearbox v3.
Hop-Up system is used for overclocking bb during the shot (putting it in rotation), through which, it extends its flight path. Acting laws of physics make that bb lift up, while the gravitational force take it down. Appropriate adjustment of Hop-Up, will compensate for these two factors, which result in long and straight flight for longer distance and be greater focus shot (to improve accuracy).
