Réplica de la ametralladora GMG42
Gracias a la empresa G&G, en el mercado ha aparecido otra delicia para los amantes de las réplicas históricas y los aficionados del airsoft histórico. La esperada réplica de la famosa ametralladora, aceptada en el armamento en 1942. Un diseño que daba mucho miedo en casi todos los frentes de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, y con el paso de los años se ha vuelto legendaria. Basándose en su diseño, fueron creadas numerosas ametralladoras modernas, como la M60 estadounidense.
Esta réplica disponible en el mercado es la reconstrucción más precisa de este rifle. Las dimensiones y los detalles del original se han reproducido con la mayor fidelidad posible, gracias a la construcción casi en su totalidad de acero, el peso también es adecuado: casi 11 kg con el cargador sin bolas. Una de las soluciones más interesantes es la posibilidad de extraer el cañón exterior con la cámara Hop-Up, lo que permite no sólamente cambiar de forma muy rápida el cañón interior, pero al mismo tiempo facilita el mantenimiento y la lubricación de la réplica. Los paneles de la empuñadura de pistola y el alimentador de bolas de cargador están hechos de polímero. El conjunto incluye también un cinturón con cartuchos artificiales, visibles en las fotos. Esta réplica no sólo ofrece un gran aspecto visual, cabe mencionar también que es prácticamente indestructible
En su mayor parte, la réplica está hecha de acero: el bípode, la tapa del cañón, el supresor de destello, todo el cuerpo, el cargador y todos los mecanismos relacionados con la liberación del cañón y la recarga. El cañón exterior está hecho de zinc y aleación de aluminio. De polímero están hechos: alimentador/parte final del cargador, cartuchos ficticios y y la empuñadura de la pistola. Dentro de la réplica se encuentra un gearbox dedicado, especialmente diseñado y reforzado, ha sido fabricada con aluminio 6061 utilizando máquinas CNC, e incluye un conjunto de engranajes de acero, y rodamientos metálicos de 10 mm libres de aceite.
La culata de la réplica, al igual que en el arma original, es de madera natural lacada. El anillo de ajuste del sistema Hop-Up se encuentra debajo de la tapa de la recámara. El bípode sólido de acero, permite bloquearse y plegarse bajo el cañón. Al igual que el rifle original diseñado para disparar los aviones, la réplica cuenta con las miras "L-Kimme". Además de un largo y eficaz cañón interior de 490 mm. La réplica de la caja de cambios tiene un sistema de cambio rápido de muelle.
La GMG42 se alimenta de un cargador tipo caja de accionamiento eléctrico y que es una imitación fiel del original. Su carcasa es totalmente de acero. El cargador tiene capacidad para 1700 bolas y se alimenta con una batería Li-po de 7,4 V.

Indications v2, v3, v6 does not mean the level of advance, but only shape of gearbox skeleton which was used and selected by the manufacturer depending on the capabilities of the body of the replica. For example, a models of the M4/M16 family, MP5, have a v2 gearbox, while the AK family have gearbox v3.
Hop-Up system is used for overclocking bb during the shot (putting it in rotation), through which, it extends its flight path. Acting laws of physics make that bb lift up, while the gravitational force take it down. Appropriate adjustment of Hop-Up, will compensate for these two factors, which result in long and straight flight for longer distance and be greater focus shot (to improve accuracy).
