Fabricado en acero y plástico resistente el modelo 74 de WE se presenta con un excelente nivel de reproducción réplicas. Se ha realizado con la máxima atención a los detalles y a la reproducción de la contraparte inflamable. El sistema aplicado blow-back trabaja "duro", como corresponde a réplica de este tipo, garantizando así un realismo mucho mayor tanto para el usuario como para los observadores. Esta es, sin duda, la mayor ventaja de este modelo. Se siente mejor cuando se utiliza réplicas en modo de disparo automático.
Un nuevo sistema introducido por el fabricante, el llamado Open Bolt, añade realismo. Réplicas WE con esta solución no tienen un inserto de latón en la recámara, que estaba presente en los primeros modelos de esta empresa. Gracias a la aplicación de dicho sistema, toda la culata se retrae durante el disparo, al igual que en la versión de fuego.
El cargador incluido, con capacidad para 40 bolas, se acopla de forma más parecida al original que en el caso del sistema réplicas AEG . Réplica se alimenta de Green gasem. El depósito para gas se encuentra en el magasynk, mientras que la válvula está discretamente escondida en la base del magasynk. El culata plegado hacia el lado izquierdo garantiza una maniobrabilidad mucho mejor en espacios reducidos que el típico culata de madera utilizado en modelos similares.
El fabricante aplicó en réplica varias soluciones interesantes que mejoran la construcción ancestral. Una solución interesante es la plataforma en el selector de fuego que facilita su manejo con el dedo índice de la mano derecha. Esto acelera el desbloqueo / aseguramiento de réplicas. La última mejora es un recorte especial en el selector de fuego que permite mantener el cierre en la posición trasera. Esto acelera la recarga réplicas y protege los disparos accidentales al bloquear el seguro.
WE 74 es sin duda una excelente opción para todos los aficionados al pensamiento técnico militar soviético interesados en el sistema réplica GBB .

Blow back is a simulation system of the cocking lever - it imitates the work of it as the equivalent sharp. This system raises the realism and adds a lot more experience during shooting.
It is the spped of bb, while its leaving the innerbarrel of replica. This speed is measured in FPS (Feet Per Second).

Hop-Up system is used for overclocking bb during the shot (putting it in rotation), through which, it extends its flight path. Acting laws of physics make that bb lift up, while the gravitational force take it down. Appropriate adjustment of Hop-Up, will compensate for these two factors, which result in long and straight flight for longer distance and be greater focus shot (to improve accuracy).
