Réplica fusil UAR 501 de APS es una construcción innovadora equipada con un diseño especial gearbox híbrido, que lleva el nombre de la empresa"APS HYBRiD Gearbox". Las siglas UAR significan Urban Assault Rifle , es decir, un modelo diseñado para operaciones MOUT (combate urbano) y CQB (corto alcance). La compacidad y la gran maniobrabilidad de fusil se lograron mediante el uso de un sistema bull-pup. En su interior era posible encajar un cañón interno efectivo de 385 mm, siendo la longitud de todo el réplicas de sólo 645 mm.
Prácticamente todo el cañón estaba hecho de plástico polimérico reforzado. La gruesa cantonera es de goma. Réplica tiene un largo raíl dorsal RIS de 22 mm y tres raíles en la empuñadura delantera. Gracias a ello, tenemos la posibilidad de equipar fusilcon toda una gama de accesorios adicionales, empezando por la óptica red dot, pasando por gripy la iluminación táctica, hasta los punteros láser
Réplica es sencillamente increíblemente funcional - tiene hasta tres extractore magasynks, uno justo por los enchufes, y dos por la empuñadura pistola- se pueden manejar con el dedo índice. El selector de modo de disparo es de doble cara, también la palanca de recarga se puede mover al otro lado - gracias a esto no hay problemas con el manejo de réplicas por parte de tiradores diestros y zurdos. Tras tirar de la palanca de recarga accedemos a la recámara de hop-up, el botón de enganche del cerrojo se encuentra en la parte posterior de la culata.
Elcompartimento de la batería se encuentra debajo de lacantonera. En la empuñadura pistolahay un compartimento para 2 baterías 123A de repuesto. Réplica gasla UAR 501 se vende junto con dos cartuchos de tipo hi-cap con una capacidad de 190 y 300 cartuchos.
El corazón del UAR 501 es el nuevo gearbox v.3 tipo "APS HYBRiD". Diseñado y fabricado de forma innovadora y más fácil de usar, según las pruebas comparativas realizadas por el fabricante es un 33% más eficiente en términos de consumo de energía que el sistema estándar. Está equipado con un sistema de resorte de cambio rápido que permite al usuario cambiar la energía de salida de la bala sin abrir gearboxa. Se incluyen 2 muelles principales adicionales.
Los engranajes reforzados están montados sobre cojinetes metálicos de 8 mm. El sistema eléctrico consta de un cableado plateado de baja resistencia para garantizar un funcionamiento estable, mientras que motor réplicas está equipado con un núcleo metálico. Cilindro y la semiprecisión cañón interior con un diámetro de 6,04 mm son de acero inoxidable
Una razonable, como para el rifle de asalto réplica, velocidad de salida en combinación con la óptima longitud de cañónes interioresj y su reducido diámetro hacen que réplica sea perfecto para operaciones de asalto y para disparar a cortas y medias distancias con alta efectividad y concentración

Indications v2, v3, v6 does not mean the level of advance, but only shape of gearbox skeleton which was used and selected by the manufacturer depending on the capabilities of the body of the replica. For example, a models of the M4/M16 family, MP5, have a v2 gearbox, while the AK family have gearbox v3.
Hop-Up system is used for overclocking bb during the shot (putting it in rotation), through which, it extends its flight path. Acting laws of physics make that bb lift up, while the gravitational force take it down. Appropriate adjustment of Hop-Up, will compensate for these two factors, which result in long and straight flight for longer distance and be greater focus shot (to improve accuracy).
