The EDGE ™ is a series of Specna Arms replicas that combines a wide range of innovative solutions that are difficult to find in other replicas currently available the market. The series focuses on a very good external build, solutions increasing the replica's versatility, longevity, facilitating failure diagnostics, and susceptibility to power tuning. Straight out of the box you will get a replica in which you won’t have to make any kind of modifications, unless you want to - which will be remarkably simple.
The receiver is an original Specna Arms design combining an interesting aesthetic with high ergonomics. Each and single element of the replica has been made and fitted with a very high attention to every detail. The replica comes equipped with a double-sided fring selector, a magazine release button and a steel sling swivel n addition, the receiver was finished with Nano Coating to prevent any scratches.
The replica is equipped with an adjustable Heavy Ops stock. The Heavy Ops stock comes equipped with an enlarged stock foot and rubber panels with non-slip texture. The design of the stock itself has been enlarged, so that it easily houses high-capacity batteries, while maintaining the ergonomic shape.
The SA-E09-RH carbine replica comes equipped with a front rail with a KEYMOD mounting system. There are short sections of RIS rails on the sides and under the barrel. The barrel is finished with a standard muzzle device. Foldable mechanical sights were placed on the top RIS rail.
The replica has a build in 6.03 mm diameter internal precision barrel, which will ensure perfect accuracy and precision of shots. A new type of rotary Hop-Up chamber is compatible with the precision barrel, which allows for more precise and stable adjustment of the BB’s precision and accuracy.
The Helium ™ Flat Hop bucking, which was installed in the replica, will improve the stability of the BB’s and make the shots even more accurate.
The replica features a quick spring change system, ESA2 ™. The heart of the replica is the ORION gearbox based on a reinforced chassis and equipped with the main spring release function. The replica straight out of the box has a number of very high-quality parts, thanks to which it maintains a very good work culture and is prepared for further tuning. ORION Gearbox is made to work with M140 springs. Inside the replica there are such elements as:

Akumulator NiCd cechuje się dużą wydajnością prądową, ale występuje w nich uciążliwy efekt pamięci. Powinny być rozładowywane i ładowane w pełnych cyklach, tj. zaleca się pełne rozładowanie, a po rozładowaniu należy akumulator niezwłocznie naładować nie pozostawiając go na dłużej w stanie rozładowanym.
Akumulatory NiMH charakteryzują się szybszym czasem samorozładowania i krótszą żywotnością - z drugiej strony, osiągają one ok. 30% więcej pojemności.
Blow Back (BB) jest to system imitujący pracę zamka (odrzut podczas wystrzału), który spotykany jest najczęściej w modelach gazowych pistoletów i karabinów, jednakże co raz częściej pojawia się on także w replikach elektrycznych. Dzięki temu, strzelanie staje się bardziej zbliżone do ostrych odpowiedników, co zwiększa realizm podczas rozgrywek. Za każdym naciśnięciem za spust, replice towarzyszy tzw. "kopnięcie", czyli odrzut spowodowany zwrotnym ruchem zamka.
W modelach gazowych, system blowback działa dzięki przeznaczonej na ten cel większej części gazu, natomiast w replikach elektrycznych, zamek poruszany jest dzięki pracy silnika napędzającego cały mechanizm.
Jest to prędkość kulki, w momencie opuszczenia przez nią lufy repliki. Mierzona jest w FPS (stopy na sekundę).

Oznaczenia v2, v3, v6 nie oznaczają stopnia zaawansowania mechanizmu ,a jedynie kształt zastosowanego szkieletu, który dobierany jest przez producenta w zależności od możliwości korpusu repliki. Przykładowo, repliki z rodziny M4/M16, MP5, mają gearbox v2, natomiast rodzina AK czy G36 gearbox v3.
System Hop-Up służy do podkręcania kulki podczas wystrzału (wprowadzenie jej w obrót rotacyjny), dzięki któremu, przedłuża ona swój tor lotu. Działające prawa fizyki, powodują iż obrót kulki unosi ją do góry, natomiast siły grawitacyjne naturalnie ją przyciągają. Odpowiednie wyregulowanie Hop-Up, spowoduje wyrównanie tych dwóch zjawisk, co zaowocuje długim i prostym lotem na dłuższym dystansie oraz większeym skupieniem strzału (poprawienie celności).
