CZ Scorpion EVO 3 A1 is a sensation on the airsoft market – it is the first replica entirely designed and manufactured in Europe by the Danish company Action Sports Games DK. The Czech firearms company, Česká zbrojovka a.s., the manufacturer of the original firearm, granted the full licence which enables us to enjoy the design, markings and naming of the original firearm. The gun meticulously replicates the original firearm at a scale of 1:1 – both dimensions and weight are as close to the original as possible.
The materials used in the replica's production process are very similar to the original. The body, stock and the front grip are made from extremely durable polymer, reinforced with glass fibre. The inner barrel is made from a single piece of aluminium using precise CNC machining process, just like the flash suppressor and the barrel nut. The above mentioned markings, identical to the original, are pleasing to the eye – CZ logo, calibre and manufacturer markings and the serial number. The manufacturer paid attention to every detail.
The replica features a long top 22mm RIS picatinny rail and 3 universal rails on the front grip. This gives the user ability to mount a wide range of accessories. Safety / fire selector is located on both sides, however, the loading lever can be easily put on the left side which makes the replica convenient and easy to use also for the left handed persons. The stock features a non-slip butt pad, can be folded sideways and its length can be adjusted in 3 positions. Access to the hop up chamber is gained by pulling the cooking handle and locking it in the open position. A functioning bolt-catch is also worth mentioning. Replica's battery is located inside the front grip.
What is inside Scorpion EVO? The heart of the replica is a specially designed, efficient gearbox enclosed inside the aluminium CNC machined frame. The gearbox features a set steel MIM gears and 8mm bearings. Gearbox is controlled by an electronic system that enables for firing with 3-round bursts, minds the life of the gearbox by stopping it after firing the last pellet, detecting a mechanism fault or low battery power. The quick spring change system enables for adjusting of the pellet velocity even at the heart of the battlefield – the guide with the spring can be removed via the back of the body (after folding the stock), without the need of removing the gearbox. The entire system is powered by the ULTIMATE engine.
Moreover, the replica features a precision inner barrel of 6.03mm diameter

Dzięki temu, strzelanie staje się bardziej zbliżone do ostrych odpowiedników, co zwiększa realizm podczas rozgrywek. Za każdym naciśnięciem za spust, replice towarzyszy tzw. "kopnięcie", czyli odrzut spowodowany zwrotnym ruchem zamka.
W modelach gazowych, system blowback działa dzięki przeznaczonej na ten cel większej części gazu, natomiast w replikach elektrycznych, zamek poruszany jest dzięki pracy silnika napędzającego cały mechanizm.
Jest to prędkość kulki, w momencie opuszczenia przez nią lufy repliki. Mierzona jest w FPS (stopy na sekundę).

Oznaczenia v2, v3, v6 nie oznaczają stopnia zaawansowania mechanizmu ,a jedynie kształt zastosowanego szkieletu, który dobierany jest przez producenta w zależności od możliwości korpusu repliki. Przykładowo, repliki z rodziny M4/M16, MP5, mają gearbox v2, natomiast rodzina AK czy G36 gearbox v3.
System Hop-Up służy do podkręcania kulki podczas wystrzału (wprowadzenie jej w obrót rotacyjny), dzięki któremu, przedłuża ona swój tor lotu. Działające prawa fizyki, powodują iż obrót kulki unosi ją do góry, natomiast siły grawitacyjne naturalnie ją przyciągają. Odpowiednie wyregulowanie Hop-Up, spowoduje wyrównanie tych dwóch zjawisk, co zaowocuje długim i prostym lotem na dłuższym dystansie oraz większeym skupieniem strzału (poprawienie celności).
