Replica belongs to the Platinum series which contains only best quality, tuning internal parts. Efect of which we gain extremly good performance and durability known from hi-end class replicas.
The replica was made entirely from metal, with the exception of elements such as the stock and pistol grip, which were made from polymer as in the live firearm original. The receiver and RIS hand guard of the replica was made from aluminium. A rarity in airsoft AR15 replicas - a steel external barrel. Apart from the barrel, steel parts also include the front sight base, flash hider, stock ring, mock bolt carrier, shell ejection window flap as well as all manipulators such as the trigger or fire mode selector. Parts of the entire construction fit very well together and it gives a really solid impression. One that the user will not have to worry about even during most demanding of airsoft games.
The stick battery is stored inside the stock slide. At the top of the receiver and the hand guard is an array of RIS 22 mm mounting rails that enable the attachment of additional accessories to the replica. Access to the Hop-Up adjustment system is gained after pulling back the charging handle. Thanks to a new type of a chamber with a comfortable knob, the user can set the Hop-Up in a precise and lasting way. Small, but a noteworthy features is the operational bolt-catch lever. ELAR MARK 18 MOD1 has a new type of SF telescopic stock with a refreshed design.
AR15 replicas by E&L are equipped with a specially designed, reinforced gearbox V2.It features a Quick Spring Release system that allows for rapid change of the main spring. It allows for quick adaptation of the replica’s power to the needs of the user via main spring exchange without the need to take out and open the gearbox and, as a result, the need to have access to a workshop or special tools. All that is necessary is to loosen the stock slide ring, unscrew the stock and remove the spring slide, which lasts literally several seconds!

Akumulator NiCd cechuje się dużą wydajnością prądową, ale występuje w nich uciążliwy efekt pamięci. Powinny być rozładowywane i ładowane w pełnych cyklach, tj. zaleca się pełne rozładowanie, a po rozładowaniu należy akumulator niezwłocznie naładować nie pozostawiając go na dłużej w stanie rozładowanym.
Akumulatory NiMH charakteryzują się szybszym czasem samorozładowania i krótszą żywotnością - z drugiej strony, osiągają one ok. 30% więcej pojemności.
Blow Back (BB) jest to system imitujący pracę zamka (odrzut podczas wystrzału), który spotykany jest najczęściej w modelach gazowych pistoletów i karabinów, jednakże co raz częściej pojawia się on także w replikach elektrycznych. Dzięki temu, strzelanie staje się bardziej zbliżone do ostrych odpowiedników, co zwiększa realizm podczas rozgrywek. Za każdym naciśnięciem za spust, replice towarzyszy tzw. "kopnięcie", czyli odrzut spowodowany zwrotnym ruchem zamka.
W modelach gazowych, system blowback działa dzięki przeznaczonej na ten cel większej części gazu, natomiast w replikach elektrycznych, zamek poruszany jest dzięki pracy silnika napędzającego cały mechanizm.
Jest to prędkość kulki, w momencie opuszczenia przez nią lufy repliki. Mierzona jest w FPS (stopy na sekundę).

Oznaczenia v2, v3, v6 nie oznaczają stopnia zaawansowania mechanizmu ,a jedynie kształt zastosowanego szkieletu, który dobierany jest przez producenta w zależności od możliwości korpusu repliki. Przykładowo, repliki z rodziny M4/M16, MP5, mają gearbox v2, natomiast rodzina AK czy G36 gearbox v3.
System Hop-Up służy do podkręcania kulki podczas wystrzału (wprowadzenie jej w obrót rotacyjny), dzięki któremu, przedłuża ona swój tor lotu. Działające prawa fizyki, powodują iż obrót kulki unosi ją do góry, natomiast siły grawitacyjne naturalnie ją przyciągają. Odpowiednie wyregulowanie Hop-Up, spowoduje wyrównanie tych dwóch zjawisk, co zaowocuje długim i prostym lotem na dłuższym dystansie oraz większeym skupieniem strzału (poprawienie celności).
