A GC16 MOD0 A1 assault rifle replica by G&G made as a part of the Intermediate series whose aim is to deliver high quality replicas at a price that may be considered economic. Intermediate series replicas are characteristic for their highest, distinctive of G&G products, craftsmanship, reliability and high quality of materials used. Replicas from this series feature a metal receive in an effort to improve their durability.
The replica also features a GOS-V2 type telescopic stock with an integrated compartment and QD tactical sling swivels. The stock is adjustable, which allows for customization of the replicas length to the body type and preferences of the user. The set includes a kit of iron sights with a flip-up aperture sight.
CM16 MOD0 features a RIS 22 mm mounting rail on the top of the receiver and hadguard as well as a set of three rails that can be attached in any place and in any configuration on the handguard. This complete conversion allows to mount a wide array of additional attachments on the replica, starting with optical sights, through grips and tactical lighting and ending up with laser sights. Space intended for a battery is located inside the handguard.
The replica comes with a steel Hi-Cap magazine with a capacity of up to around 300 BBs.
The replica also features a gearbox V2 based on 8 mm bearings, which allows for achieving a muzzle velocity of ~405 FPS straight out of the box. It is a reinforced version with increased muzzle velocity - High Muzzle Velocity. This and the implementation of a 330 mm long outer barrel make this replica ideal for middle-ranged activities. Inside is a sealed pneumatic system, equipped with high quality chamber and HU bucking.

Blow Back (BB) jest to system imitujący pracę zamka (odrzut podczas wystrzału), który spotykany jest najczęściej w modelach gazowych pistoletów i karabinów, jednakże co raz częściej pojawia się on także w replikach elektrycznych. Dzięki temu, strzelanie staje się bardziej zbliżone do ostrych odpowiedników, co zwiększa realizm podczas rozgrywek. Za każdym naciśnięciem za spust, replice towarzyszy tzw. "kopnięcie", czyli odrzut spowodowany zwrotnym ruchem zamka.
W modelach gazowych, system blowback działa dzięki przeznaczonej na ten cel większej części gazu, natomiast w replikach elektrycznych, zamek poruszany jest dzięki pracy silnika napędzającego cały mechanizm.
Jest to prędkość kulki, w momencie opuszczenia przez nią lufy repliki. Mierzona jest w FPS (stopy na sekundę).

Oznaczenia v2, v3, v6 nie oznaczają stopnia zaawansowania mechanizmu ,a jedynie kształt zastosowanego szkieletu, który dobierany jest przez producenta w zależności od możliwości korpusu repliki. Przykładowo, repliki z rodziny M4/M16, MP5, mają gearbox v2, natomiast rodzina AK czy G36 gearbox v3.
System Hop-Up służy do podkręcania kulki podczas wystrzału (wprowadzenie jej w obrót rotacyjny), dzięki któremu, przedłuża ona swój tor lotu. Działające prawa fizyki, powodują iż obrót kulki unosi ją do góry, natomiast siły grawitacyjne naturalnie ją przyciągają. Odpowiednie wyregulowanie Hop-Up, spowoduje wyrównanie tych dwóch zjawisk, co zaowocuje długim i prostym lotem na dłuższym dystansie oraz większeym skupieniem strzału (poprawienie celności).
