Featured GC16 MOD0 carbine replica by G&G is a special, “30th anniversary" limited edition. Replicas from this special series have been introduced to the market in a limited number of 1000 replicas per model. The replica consists of metal (including aluminium and steel) as well as polymer, reinforced with carbon fibre. There are no loose parts in the replica. Featuring full metal receiver, metal outer barrel, stock pipe, RIS rails and most of smaller elements. Apart from metal parts, the replica has a polymer stock, handguard, pistol grip and flash hider.
Retractable GOS-V2 stock with in-built extra storage space and sockets for mounting QD tactical sling swivels. The stock can be customized in size and thus regulate the length of the replica to fit individual preferences and body type of the user. The set includes a kit of metal iron sights with a flip-up rear sight. The receiver bears special G&G 30th Anniversary markings.
GC16 MOD0 features 22mm RIS mounting rail on the top of the receiver and the handguard, as well as three rails mounted in place of choice and on the handguard. This complete conversion enables mounting of a range of additional accessories ranging from optical sights, fore grips, tactical flashlights and laser sights. The battery is stored inside the handguard.
Gearbox v2 based on 8mm bearings, which allows to achieve increased muzzle velocity of about 400 fps right out of the box. Reinforced, High Muzzle Velocity version. Due to aforementioned qualities and the implementation of 330mm outer barrel, the replica will perform very well at medium range. The inside of the replica features air-tight pneumatic system with high-quality chamber and Hop-Up bucking.
The replica comes with a steel 450 BB hi-cap magazine.
The set does not contain a battery or a charger.

Akumulator NiCd cechuje się dużą wydajnością prądową, ale występuje w nich uciążliwy efekt pamięci. Powinny być rozładowywane i ładowane w pełnych cyklach, tj. zaleca się pełne rozładowanie, a po rozładowaniu należy akumulator niezwłocznie naładować nie pozostawiając go na dłużej w stanie rozładowanym.
Akumulatory NiMH charakteryzują się szybszym czasem samorozładowania i krótszą żywotnością - z drugiej strony, osiągają one ok. 30% więcej pojemności.
Blow Back (BB) jest to system imitujący pracę zamka (odrzut podczas wystrzału), który spotykany jest najczęściej w modelach gazowych pistoletów i karabinów, jednakże co raz częściej pojawia się on także w replikach elektrycznych. Dzięki temu, strzelanie staje się bardziej zbliżone do ostrych odpowiedników, co zwiększa realizm podczas rozgrywek. Za każdym naciśnięciem za spust, replice towarzyszy tzw. "kopnięcie", czyli odrzut spowodowany zwrotnym ruchem zamka.
W modelach gazowych, system blowback działa dzięki przeznaczonej na ten cel większej części gazu, natomiast w replikach elektrycznych, zamek poruszany jest dzięki pracy silnika napędzającego cały mechanizm.
Jest to prędkość kulki, w momencie opuszczenia przez nią lufy repliki. Mierzona jest w FPS (stopy na sekundę).

Oznaczenia v2, v3, v6 nie oznaczają stopnia zaawansowania mechanizmu ,a jedynie kształt zastosowanego szkieletu, który dobierany jest przez producenta w zależności od możliwości korpusu repliki. Przykładowo, repliki z rodziny M4/M16, MP5, mają gearbox v2, natomiast rodzina AK czy G36 gearbox v3.
System Hop-Up służy do podkręcania kulki podczas wystrzału (wprowadzenie jej w obrót rotacyjny), dzięki któremu, przedłuża ona swój tor lotu. Działające prawa fizyki, powodują iż obrót kulki unosi ją do góry, natomiast siły grawitacyjne naturalnie ją przyciągają. Odpowiednie wyregulowanie Hop-Up, spowoduje wyrównanie tych dwóch zjawisk, co zaowocuje długim i prostym lotem na dłuższym dystansie oraz większeym skupieniem strzału (poprawienie celności).
