SPARTAC replicas family is the perfect choice for airsoft players who are seeking good quality products at a reasonable price. The main factor that enables for reducing costs is using a good quality plastics in place of metal for components (including the replica's body) in manufacturing process. At the same time, gearbox made of metal (providing over 400FPS!) and good quality mechanical parts inside make the SPARTAC replicas as effective on the airsoft battlefield as their more expensive counterparts.
Just moments after taking the replica out of the box the user will notice a very careful fitting of individual elements – there are no loose parts or clearances, even in key places such as stock or fore end / front grip – which is present in many other replicas.
Most of the replica's core components are made of plastics. These are, among others, front grip, stock and sights. The outer barrel is made of ZnAlu, while the magazine box and dummy lock are made of steel. Despite the usage of mostly plastics, the user will not notice an unpleasant creaking of the material which is present in most "cheap" replicas.
SRT-04 features a detachable top carry handle underneath which is a universal 22mm RIS mounting rail. Four additional rails are located around the front grip. They allow mounting of a wide range of additional accessories such as telescopic sights, grips, tactical lighting etc. The replica also features an adjustable SF type collapsing stockwith an anti-slip rubber butt. The outer barrel ends with a 14mm left-handed thread which enables for mounting of a suppressor.
Access to the hop-up adjustment system is typical, upon retracting the cooking handle. Safety / fire selector is located on the left hand side of the body. The heart of the replica is a solid, v.2 type gearbox made of metal, fitted with a set of steel gears, warped spring guide and 7mm bearings, which enables for c.410FPS muzzle velocity, straight out of the box. Shots fired from SPARTAC are precise and the firing range is great thanks to 360mm long inner barrel.
The replica includes a hi-cap magazine made from steel and plastics holding 300 pellets. The battery is located inside the SF type stock.

Akumulator NiCd cechuje się dużą wydajnością prądową, ale występuje w nich uciążliwy efekt pamięci. Powinny być rozładowywane i ładowane w pełnych cyklach, tj. zaleca się pełne rozładowanie, a po rozładowaniu należy akumulator niezwłocznie naładować nie pozostawiając go na dłużej w stanie rozładowanym.
Akumulatory NiMH charakteryzują się szybszym czasem samorozładowania i krótszą żywotnością - z drugiej strony, osiągają one ok. 30% więcej pojemności.
Blow Back (BB) jest to system imitujący pracę zamka (odrzut podczas wystrzału), który spotykany jest najczęściej w modelach gazowych pistoletów i karabinów, jednakże co raz częściej pojawia się on także w replikach elektrycznych. Dzięki temu, strzelanie staje się bardziej zbliżone do ostrych odpowiedników, co zwiększa realizm podczas rozgrywek. Za każdym naciśnięciem za spust, replice towarzyszy tzw. "kopnięcie", czyli odrzut spowodowany zwrotnym ruchem zamka.
W modelach gazowych, system blowback działa dzięki przeznaczonej na ten cel większej części gazu, natomiast w replikach elektrycznych, zamek poruszany jest dzięki pracy silnika napędzającego cały mechanizm.
Jest to prędkość kulki, w momencie opuszczenia przez nią lufy repliki. Mierzona jest w FPS (stopy na sekundę).

Oznaczenia v2, v3, v6 nie oznaczają stopnia zaawansowania mechanizmu ,a jedynie kształt zastosowanego szkieletu, który dobierany jest przez producenta w zależności od możliwości korpusu repliki. Przykładowo, repliki z rodziny M4/M16, MP5, mają gearbox v2, natomiast rodzina AK czy G36 gearbox v3.
System Hop-Up służy do podkręcania kulki podczas wystrzału (wprowadzenie jej w obrót rotacyjny), dzięki któremu, przedłuża ona swój tor lotu. Działające prawa fizyki, powodują iż obrót kulki unosi ją do góry, natomiast siły grawitacyjne naturalnie ją przyciągają. Odpowiednie wyregulowanie Hop-Up, spowoduje wyrównanie tych dwóch zjawisk, co zaowocuje długim i prostym lotem na dłuższym dystansie oraz większeym skupieniem strzału (poprawienie celności).
