This time we have selected a
unique and extraordinary, as well as first on the market, SV-98 replica
by Raptor.
The replica has undergone a
professional, visual modification in order to provide it with a unique
character. As the handguard of the replica was made of beautiful plywood,
we have decided to use this fact and uncover the layered-structure of wood. In
addition, original oxidization has been professionally rubbed off revealing beautiful
steel and other, made of metal, elements. Aging procedure also
concerns included in the set additional elements such as the silencer or the
bipod.
The replica will look great on a
wall display as well as in the field. You receive the visual effect of subtle
aging straight out of the box, as if the replica were used in battle by a real
sniper. All that is necessary is to add a scope and one can enjoy a unique,
custom sniper rifle replica.
RAPTOR presents a long-awaited SV-98 sniper rifle
replica. An absolute must-have for everyone collecting Russian military
accessories or non-standard sniper rifle replicas.
The handguard of the replica was
made of high-quality plywood painted in a characteristic, green color.
The pistol grip has hand-crafted, grooved texture that improves the grip. The
stock has two places with adjustments - a cheek pad and the stock pad. Entirety
is completed with an additional support base - a special monopod located in the
bottom of the stock. An adjustable, foldable bipod is located under the
barrel with the option of being removed. The bipod can be conveniently
concealed in the handguard of the replica. The barrel features a thread
that allows for the installation of dedicated silencers or flash hiders.
The top of the barrel has a RIS
mounting rail, on which optics can be mounted.
The side of the handguard has a
place for the characteristic transport grip that can be, of course,
removed.
SV-98 is equipped with a system
adapted for firing using AEG springs. This enables a comfortable, quick
and practical power tuning of the replica. The entire trigger mechanism,
cylinder and remaining parts were made of metal and steel. The replica
generates ~430 FPS straight out of the box.
Hop-Up chamber adjustment can be
accessed by a small hole in the top part of the replica.
The replica is compatible with a
dedicated magazine with a capacity of up to 50 BBs.
SV-98 in Deluxe version comes

System Hop-Up służy do podkręcania kulki podczas wystrzału (wprowadzenie jej w obrót rotacyjny), dzięki któremu, przedłuża ona swój tor lotu. Działające prawa fizyki, powodują iż obrót kulki unosi ją do góry, natomiast siły grawitacyjne naturalnie ją przyciągają. Odpowiednie wyregulowanie Hop-Up, spowoduje wyrównanie tych dwóch zjawisk, co zaowocuje długim i prostym lotem na dłuższym dystansie oraz większeym skupieniem strzału (poprawienie celności).
