The Trident Mk2 SPR is designed to be the perfect "scout rifle". The replica is equipped with a 16 “ long outer barrel and a 13" free float Defiance TR113 handguard in the KeyMod standard The aluminum, matt finished body has Krytac markings and is compatible with standard AR / M4 (STANAG) magazines. Its other advantages are a double-sided fire mode selector and a working bolt-catch, which will allowes for a easy access to the replica's hop-up system. The rotary Krytac hop-up system has 15 numbered settings, which allow for precise adjustments to the needs of the user. The replica has a telescopic stock with an adjustable length, inside which we can fit a battery in several different configurations. The stock has hooks for attaching a sling, including 2 QD type - quick release.
The replica has a reinforced gearbox v.2 based on 8mm ball bearings. The gearbox is equipped with an integrated MOSFET that regulates the work of the electronics and the trigger system. The shape of the gearbox frame has been designed in such a way as to maximally protect the gearbox against cracks. The frame is additionally equipped with an inspection window on the left side, allowing for an insight into the correct operation of the system and its maintenance (lubrication) without disassembling the gearbox. Another valuable perk of the Krytac replica is the quick spring change system - the modular guide allows you to change the main spring without unscrewing the frame. The piston is made out of very durable and light polymer material with 4 metal teeth. The cylinder head has an enlarged rubber buffer, which optimizes the operation of the system and absorbs the energy generated by the piston. The material from which the gears are made has been specially selected in order to achieve maximum durability. The Rockwell hardness tests showed a much higher than normal result for Krytac gears. Akumulator NiCd cechuje się dużą wydajnością prądową, ale występuje w nich uciążliwy efekt pamięci. Dzięki temu, strzelanie staje się bardziej zbliżone do ostrych odpowiedników, co zwiększa realizm podczas rozgrywek. Za każdym naciśnięciem za spust, replice towarzyszy tzw. "kopnięcie", czyli odrzut spowodowany zwrotnym ruchem zamka.
W modelach gazowych, system blowback działa dzięki przeznaczonej na ten cel większej części gazu, natomiast w replikach elektrycznych, zamek poruszany jest dzięki pracy silnika napędzającego cały mechanizm.
Jest to prędkość kulki, w momencie opuszczenia przez nią lufy repliki. Mierzona jest w FPS (stopy na sekundę).

Oznaczenia v2, v3, v6 nie oznaczają stopnia zaawansowania mechanizmu ,a jedynie kształt zastosowanego szkieletu, który dobierany jest przez producenta w zależności od możliwości korpusu repliki. Przykładowo, repliki z rodziny M4/M16, MP5, mają gearbox v2, natomiast rodzina AK czy G36 gearbox v3.
System Hop-Up służy do podkręcania kulki podczas wystrzału (wprowadzenie jej w obrót rotacyjny), dzięki któremu, przedłuża ona swój tor lotu. Działające prawa fizyki, powodują iż obrót kulki unosi ją do góry, natomiast siły grawitacyjne naturalnie ją przyciągają. Odpowiednie wyregulowanie Hop-Up, spowoduje wyrównanie tych dwóch zjawisk, co zaowocuje długim i prostym lotem na dłuższym dystansie oraz większeym skupieniem strzału (poprawienie celności).
