The WE-055GT green-gas pistol replica is made almost fully of metal. The pistol frame and the slide, the barrel and some other minor elements are made of metal. The pistol grip covers with the profiled texture are made of durable anti-skid plastic. A very good make and a proper fitting of the elements guarantee the replica’s precise operation without problems.
The replica is equipped with an ambidextrous safety lever blocking the trigger mechanism and disallowing a random shot. The access to the safety lever is very simple while the safety lever is within the reach of the thumb. A functional rear pressure safety was also used in this model. It forces a proper grip in order to place a shot.
A reasonable muzzle velocity makes this replica a perfect choice for a sidearm used in buildings on close ranges. At the same time, in comparison to other stronger replicas the gas consumption is small what makes the replica economical in use.

System Hop-Up służy do podkręcania kulki podczas wystrzału (wprowadzenie jej w obrót rotacyjny), dzięki któremu, przedłuża ona swój tor lotu. Działające prawa fizyki, powodują iż obrót kulki unosi ją do góry, natomiast siły grawitacyjne naturalnie ją przyciągają. Odpowiednie wyregulowanie Hop-Up, spowoduje wyrównanie tych dwóch zjawisk, co zaowocuje długim i prostym lotem na dłuższym dystansie oraz większeym skupieniem strzału (poprawienie celności).
