PKM machinegun replica
The long awaited model of the universal PKM machinegun made by the A&K company was made of steel and aluminum. The bolt chamber, the chamber cover, the bipod, the carrying handle and the box magazine were made of steel, while as the rest of the elements, such as the outer barrel, the base of the front iron aiming sight, the gas node, the gas pipe, the barrel assembly, the iron aiming sights were on the other hand made of a homogenous alloy of zinc and aluminum. The pistol grip and the stock were made of wood.
The replica is equipped with the MOSFET system which is hidden inside the gas pipe and it is also equipped with a potentiometer which regulates the replica’s rate of fire. The replica’s inner mechanism is a checked construction – the gearbox’s case is, inter alia, known from the M249 type machinegun, it is equipped with 8mm steel ball bearings. The M140 type main spring is placed on a reinforced main spring guide which is equipped with bearings.

Blow back is a simulation system of the cocking lever - it imitates the work of it as the equivalent sharp. This system raises the realism and adds a lot more experience during shooting.

Indications v2, v3, v6 does not mean the level of advance, but only shape of gearbox skeleton which was used and selected by the manufacturer depending on the capabilities of the body of the replica. For example, a models of the M4/M16 family, MP5, have a v2 gearbox, while the AK family have gearbox v3.
Hop-Up system is used for overclocking bb during the shot (putting it in rotation), through which, it extends its flight path. Acting laws of physics make that bb lift up, while the gravitational force take it down. Appropriate adjustment of Hop-Up, will compensate for these two factors, which result in long and straight flight for longer distance and be greater focus shot (to improve accuracy).
