ARP9
Submachine Gun Replica
An ARP9
carbine replica by G&G made as a part of the Combat Machine project whose aim is to deliver high-quality replicas at a price that may be
considered economical. Combat Machine series replicas are characteristic for
their highest, distinctive of G&G products, craftsmanship, high-quality
materials used as well as the reliability of internal elements. The main factor
that allows reducing the price is the use of a receiver made of high-quality polymer instead of metal. It is
also important to note that the receiver was made of fiberglass reinforced polymer. Metal parts, on the other hand, include: the external barrel, stock slide,
latches and majority of small elements.
At first
glance, the replica resembles yet another AR-15 replica, but aside from the
implementation of gearbox V2 or the pistol grip, the similarities end there. We
get a solid, compact PDW replica. The replica features a foldable stock
made of steel and polymer. The stock slide holds a connector for the battery
(not included in the set) and a MOSFET unit. The replica features a custom
pistol grip, trigger and a metal M-LOK® rail featuring license markings.
The top of the replica features flip-up iron sights. Aside from the strong
polymer, the replica also has steel elements, among others, a stock
element, a shell ejection port cover that is opened with the charging handle as
well as screws and pins. The barrel of the replica has a custom muzzle
device. The set includes a Hi-Cap magazine with a capacity of up to 300
BBs.
The GB aside
from typical for G&G high-quality parts is equipped with an innovative ETU
(Electronic Trigger Unit) system. The system supplements the role of the MOSFET
circuit. Due to an electronic operation, the system has gained a remarkable
responsiveness to the trigger. Each pull results in a full operation cycle of
the GB.
The ETU
system has the ability to program fire modes. The User by default has the
access to SAFE - SEMI - FULL AUTO - 3 round burst modes. The programming
process is trivial - the User needs only to select the SEMI option and pull-and-hold
the trigger for 10 seconds. Once that is done, the third option of the fire
mode selector will initiate the selected mode.
The set
does not include a battery or a charger.
The
set includes:
- replica
- magazine
- User’s manual
NiCd
rechargeable battery is characterized by high efficiency
current-carrying capacity, but there are disruptive effect on memory.
Should be unloaded and loaded in the full cycle, ie, it is recommended
to fully discharge, and after unloading must charge the battery
immediately without leaving it for a long time in a discharged state.
NiMH batteries have a higher self-discharge over time and shorten the
life - on the other hand, they earn about 30% more capacity.
Blow back is a simulation system of the cocking lever - it imitates the work of it as the equivalent sharp. This system raises the realism and adds a lot more experience during shooting.
It is the spped of bb, while its leaving the innerbarrel of replica. This speed is measured in FPS (Feet Per Second).
1 FPS = 0,3 m/s
1 J = 99 m/s
1 J = 326,7 FPS
Indications v2, v3, v6 does not mean the level of advance, but only shape of gearbox skeleton which was used and selected by the manufacturer depending on the capabilities of the body of the replica. For example, a models of the M4/M16 family, MP5, have a v2 gearbox, while the AK family have gearbox v3.
Hop-Up system is used for overclocking bb during the shot (putting it in rotation), through which, it extends its flight path. Acting laws of physics make that bb lift up, while the gravitational force take it down. Appropriate adjustment of Hop-Up, will compensate for these two factors, which result in long and straight flight for longer distance and be greater focus shot (to improve accuracy).
