ELAK12 Carbine Replica
ELAK12 is an ASG assault rifle by
E&L that is characteristic for its exceptionally high degree of realism that
we have come to expect from previous replicas. Similarly
to the live firearm original, the replica features mainly steel internal
elements. Polymer parts include only the handguard along with the gas pipe
cover, the pistol grip, the magazine and the stock.
It is important to note that
steel elements have undergone anodizing, which makes their appearance
even more realistic, also sometimes the process of abrasion of the anodizing
gives a much better effect than in the case of a painted or
lacquered replicas.
A great effort was also made to
make the replica’s weight as close to that of the original as possible. It is
heavy and additionally, a correct balance is guaranteed by a steel, external
barrel. Worth noting is without a doubt the option of partial disassembly of
the replica, like its live firearm counterpart - without the need for
tools. Everything is based on pins and levers. The manufacturer has taken
care of the smallest details in order to bring the product as close to the
original as possible.

ELAK12 is powered by a durable
gearbox V3 equipped with quick spring change system that allows to
adjust the replica’s muzzle velocity to current play field rules without having
to disassemble the gearbox frame. Inside, there are elements such as this:

Blow back is a simulation system of the cocking lever - it imitates the work of it as the equivalent sharp. This system raises the realism and adds a lot more experience during shooting.

Indications v2, v3, v6 does not mean the level of advance, but only shape of gearbox skeleton which was used and selected by the manufacturer depending on the capabilities of the body of the replica. For example, a models of the M4/M16 family, MP5, have a v2 gearbox, while the AK family have gearbox v3.
Hop-Up system is used for overclocking bb during the shot (putting it in rotation), through which, it extends its flight path. Acting laws of physics make that bb lift up, while the gravitational force take it down. Appropriate adjustment of Hop-Up, will compensate for these two factors, which result in long and straight flight for longer distance and be greater focus shot (to improve accuracy).
