GR25 sniper rifle replica
The GR-25 sniper rifle replica belonging to the highest class of the Top-Tech product line of the G&G company was made of a homogenous zinc and aluminum alloy and of the highest class of plastic. The metal elements were made with the use of the CNC technology and these are the two-part body, the trigger and the trigger guard, all RIS rails, the outer barrel with the gas nozzle, the suppressor, the magazines as also almost every minor element. The stock holding the battery, the pistol grip and the RIS rail covers were made of polymer plastic.
A unique serial number, a logo and the GR-25 Sniper model markings were engraved on the replica’s body.
Just like the original the replica is equipped only with the semi-auto firing mode. The top RIS rail allows to attach optical aiming sights and scopes– it is especially recommended to use a scope. The front barrel guard is equipped with four RIS rails allowing to mount a bipod, a laser target marker, a tactical grip and many more additional elements. If the RIS rail is not used it may be concealed with a RIS rail cover.
The replica is
equipped with a black V.2 gearbox – known from the Top-Tech construction. The
reinforced internal consists inter alia of a High Torque motor what guarantees
a rapid reaction to the trigger and perfect possibility for a potential power
tune. What is more, the replica was equipped with reinforced metal gearwheels
based on steel ball bearing and a reinforced ball bearing main spring guide. The
additional worth mentioning inner elements are the polycarbonate metal tooth
piston and the sealed piston head.
The replica also uses a 6,04mm diameter precise barrel that is 509mm
long.
It all makes the GR25 replica a perfect base for building a high class sniper rifle. The reinforced parts and the strong motor guarantee the possibility of tuning the replica with little expense.
The replica was equipped with a short Mid-Cap type magazine holding 50BB pellets and a suppressor mounted in the QD system.
The set includes:
- the replica,
- the magazine,
- the sound suppressor,
- a bipod adapter,
NiCd
rechargeable battery is characterized by high efficiency
current-carrying capacity, but there are disruptive effect on memory.
Should be unloaded and loaded in the full cycle, ie, it is recommended
to fully discharge, and after unloading must charge the battery
immediately without leaving it for a long time in a discharged state.
NiMH batteries have a higher self-discharge over time and shorten the
life - on the other hand, they earn about 30% more capacity.
Blow back is a simulation system of the cocking lever - it imitates the work of it as the equivalent sharp. This system raises the realism and adds a lot more experience during shooting.
It is the spped of bb, while its leaving the innerbarrel of replica. This speed is measured in FPS (Feet Per Second).
1 FPS = 0,3 m/s
1 J = 99 m/s
1 J = 326,7 FPS
Indications v2, v3, v6 does not mean the level of advance, but only shape of gearbox skeleton which was used and selected by the manufacturer depending on the capabilities of the body of the replica. For example, a models of the M4/M16 family, MP5, have a v2 gearbox, while the AK family have gearbox v3.
Hop-Up system is used for overclocking bb during the shot (putting it in rotation), through which, it extends its flight path. Acting laws of physics make that bb lift up, while the gravitational force take it down. Appropriate adjustment of Hop-Up, will compensate for these two factors, which result in long and straight flight for longer distance and be greater focus shot (to improve accuracy).
