L85 AFV ETU Version Carbine Replica
L85 AFV replica is characteristic for its excellent
craftsmanship with the loyal representation of details. This replica by G&G
was made of metal, steel and polymer in a
way that mirrors the construction of the original live firearm. It is also
equipped with a rubber stock pad for an increased grip and stability during use.
The entire replica is ideally aligned and balanced, which makes operating the
replica a pure pleasure.
As expected
of G&G, the replica is characteristic for its excellent craftsmanship with
the care for details. The receiver, flash hider, magazine and some
miscellaneous elements were made of steel, whereas parts such as the handguard, the pistol grip, cheek
pad and the shell ejection port cover (like in the original) were made of
durable polymer. The stock pad was made of rubber, which prevents this heavy
yet excellently balanced replica from sliding off the User’s arm. The pistol
grip contains a compartment for tools or other small items.
Thanks to the replica being equipped with a mounting rail, it is possible to
attach dedicated optical sights or a transport handle. The set includes a SUSAT sight replica with a 4x fixed
magnification.
Under the
barrel are located 3 RIS 22 mm mounting rails that enable the attachment of
additional tactical accessories such as a flashlight or a tactical forward
grip.
The reinforced gearbox is equipped with a reinforced spring guide, a reinforced
piston and a piston head, a reinforced and an air-sealed cylinder head as well
as an air-sealed nozzle. Metal gears are mounted on 8 mm steel bearings. In
combination with an elongated cylinder and piston, this creates an excellent
base for a power tuning of the replica, especially due to the fact that the
quality of parts implemented is a G&G standard - which means the highest
quality.
The replica has a phenomenal EBB (Electric Blow Back) system, known from
Top Tech series replicas, which furthers the realism when it comes to the
operation of the replica and grants the User additional experience. The
magazine well contains a lever for the releasing of a compressed gearbox spring.
The GB aside
from typical for G&G high-quality parts is equipped with an innovative ETU
(Electronic Trigger Unit) system. The system completely replaces the
connector cube and fully takes over the function of a MOSFET module. Due to the
electronic operation of the trigger, the system has gained a remarkable
responsiveness to the trigger. Each pull results in a full operation cycle of
the GB.
The ETU
system has the ability to program fire modes. The user by default has the
access to SAFE - SEMI - FULL AUTO - 3 round burst modes. The programming
process is trivial - the User needs only to select the SEMI option and
pull-and-hold the trigger for 10 seconds. Once that is done, the third option
of the fire mode selector will initiate the selected mode.
Every replica
features an individual serial number.
The set does
not include a battery or a charger.
The set
includes:
- replica
- magazine
- transport handle
NiCd
rechargeable battery is characterized by high efficiency
current-carrying capacity, but there are disruptive effect on memory.
Should be unloaded and loaded in the full cycle, ie, it is recommended
to fully discharge, and after unloading must charge the battery
immediately without leaving it for a long time in a discharged state.
NiMH batteries have a higher self-discharge over time and shorten the
life - on the other hand, they earn about 30% more capacity.
Blow back is a simulation system of the cocking lever - it imitates the work of it as the equivalent sharp. This system raises the realism and adds a lot more experience during shooting.
It is the spped of bb, while its leaving the innerbarrel of replica. This speed is measured in FPS (Feet Per Second).
1 FPS = 0,3 m/s
1 J = 99 m/s
1 J = 326,7 FPS
Indications v2, v3, v6 does not mean the level of advance, but only shape of gearbox skeleton which was used and selected by the manufacturer depending on the capabilities of the body of the replica. For example, a models of the M4/M16 family, MP5, have a v2 gearbox, while the AK family have gearbox v3.
Hop-Up system is used for overclocking bb during the shot (putting it in rotation), through which, it extends its flight path. Acting laws of physics make that bb lift up, while the gravitational force take it down. Appropriate adjustment of Hop-Up, will compensate for these two factors, which result in long and straight flight for longer distance and be greater focus shot (to improve accuracy).
