M45X-S Submachine Gun Replica
A unique M45 replica in X-S version made
by known and well-liked by players ARES. The replica was made mainly of
high-quality metal and durable polymer.
Metal parts include the receiver of the
replica, RIS handguard or the stock latch with the stock slide. There is
also no shortage of steel elements such as pins or screws. Polymer parts, on
the other hand, include a comfortable pistol grip, an adjustable stock with a
battery container or flip-up iron sights placed on the top RIS rail.
At first glance, this replica resembles
another M4 / M16 replica, however, in this case this replica is fed from a 9
mm magazine. Remaining elements like the manipulator buttons are exactly
the same as in AR15 carbine replicas.
An interesting solution is the possibility of
rapid handguard change. The standard system enables adapting the length
of the barrel to User preferences. It is worth noting that the entire operation
does not require the use of any tools.
Another interesting solution is the foldable
stock that holds special connectors - it is not possible to fire with
the stock folded however.
The heart of this replica consists of a
reinforced, dedicated gearbox, with a set of gears featuring an integrated
EFCS module - Electronic Firing Control System. It controls the operation
of the trigger box, allowing for a smooth operation and, above all, shortens
the motor reaction time to a squeeze of the trigger. A standard connector
cube was replaced with an electronic system. EFCS has an in-built
MOSFET module.
EFCS significantly prolongs the lifetime of the mechanism,
thus of the entire replica and allows to use a high-voltage battery, including
LiPo. After purchasing an external, dedicated EFCS programmer, the User
will gain the ability to set the sequence of fire modes, as well as the burst
mode (3-BB fire).
The replica comes with two Mid-Cap magazines
- the shorter holds 55 BBs and the longer one 125 BBs.

Indications v2, v3, v6 does not mean the level of advance, but only shape of gearbox skeleton which was used and selected by the manufacturer depending on the capabilities of the body of the replica. For example, a models of the M4/M16 family, MP5, have a v2 gearbox, while the AK family have gearbox v3.
Hop-Up system is used for overclocking bb during the shot (putting it in rotation), through which, it extends its flight path. Acting laws of physics make that bb lift up, while the gravitational force take it down. Appropriate adjustment of Hop-Up, will compensate for these two factors, which result in long and straight flight for longer distance and be greater focus shot (to improve accuracy).
