MAD MAX Sawn-Off Replica
A
sawn-off by Taiwanese Haw San is without a doubt a treat for all fans of
post-apocalypse scenarios like MAD MAX or S.T.A.L.K.E.R. It is one of those few
shotgun replicas with two barrels in horizontal position, which in combination
with high realism will satisfy every user.
The
craftsmanship is of very high quality - the pistol grip and the cradle were
made from solid, lacquered wood. Remaining elements such as the barrels, body
and mechanism were made from metal. Polymer parts include only the rubber covers/absorbers
at the barrel exhaust or shells seals.
The
sawn-off is powered by 2 shells loaded with 7 BBs each as well as Green Gas.
After each squeeze of the trigger, all contents of a shells are fired, which in
combination with two triggers provides the ability to fire from both barrels.
Muzzle velocity equals to ~380 FPS.
The
replica can be very easily disassembled and then rapidly assembled, which
allows for concealed carrying during LARP parties. Even assembled it retains
compact length of 470 mm.

Blow back is a simulation system of the cocking lever - it imitates the work of it as the equivalent sharp. This system raises the realism and adds a lot more experience during shooting.
It is the spped of bb, while its leaving the innerbarrel of replica. This speed is measured in FPS (Feet Per Second).

Hop-Up system is used for overclocking bb during the shot (putting it in rotation), through which, it extends its flight path. Acting laws of physics make that bb lift up, while the gravitational force take it down. Appropriate adjustment of Hop-Up, will compensate for these two factors, which result in long and straight flight for longer distance and be greater focus shot (to improve accuracy).
