Piranha Mk I Pistol Replica
A compact and light Piranha pistol
replica is an original project by the known and liked by players G&G. Metal
parts include the slide of the replica, while the frame and panels were made of
durable polymer. Piranha is characteristic for its interesting slide opening
system (it also features Blow Back, of course). Relatively thin pistol grip is
very stable in one’s hand. The top has clear iron sights and under the barrel
there is a RIS rail that enables the attachment of a laser sight or a tactical
flashlight.
The barrel features a 1 mm CW
thread that allows for the installation of a Tracer type silencer.
The magazine is powered by Green
Gas and can hold up to 25 BBs.
Some interesting, not seen
before, solutions were implemented inside the replica. The first one is a high-bandwidth
gas valve equipped with a micro-filter that is responsible for
allowing the ideal amount of gas only in an airborne state - all
remaining gas remains in the magazine.
The use of a special valve allows preventing an uncontrolled gas leak,
thus providing a greater safety of use of the replica. Yet another interesting
solution is a specially-designed cylinder valve equipped with blades
that cause it to rotate around its own axis. The gas that at the same time
rotates the valve and doses the gas for firing a BB creates pressure that
pushes back the slide.
The replica uses a revolutionary
Hop-Up adjustment system that is located in the barrel. A special tool in
the form of a mock 9 mm round is used for adjustment.
The set includes:
- replica
- a magazine
- Hop-Up adjustment tool
- User’s manual
- speedloader
- transport case
Blow back is a simulation system of the cocking lever - it imitates the work of it as the equivalent sharp. This system raises the realism and adds a lot more experience during shooting.
It is the spped of bb, while its leaving the innerbarrel of replica. This speed is measured in FPS (Feet Per Second).
1 FPS = 0,3 m/s
1 J = 99 m/s
1 J = 326,7 FPS
Hop-Up system is used for overclocking bb during the shot (putting it in rotation), through which, it extends its flight path. Acting laws of physics make that bb lift up, while the gravitational force take it down. Appropriate adjustment of Hop-Up, will compensate for these two factors, which result in long and straight flight for longer distance and be greater focus shot (to improve accuracy).
