RK-05 Carbine
Replica
An entire
array of assault rifle replicas from beyond the eastern border belongs to the
RK series by Boyi/Dboys. The
use of good quality materials and a good fit of their parts allows the replicas
to look very solid and are an often choice by airsoft enthusiasts.
The
replica was made using, among others, a steel plate. The receiver, dust
cover, stock with the latch and a tactical sling swivel, fire mode selector,
mock gas pipe and cleaning rod were all made of steel. Remaining metal
elements were made of a uniform alloy of zinc and aluminum. Only the
pistol grip, stock, handguard and the gas pipe cap were made of polymer -
exactly as in the live firearm original.
A
black, matt finish provides the replica with a realistic appearance. RK-05
stock folds to the side of the receiver, which allows for reduction of the size
of the replica. The stick type battery is stored under the dust cover (included
in the set). The replica can be partially disassembled like its live firearm
original. It only lacks the screws, which is a result of a construction
based on the VFC standard. The receiver is equipped with a “dovetail joint”
side mounting rail.
The
heart of the replica consists of a gearbox V3, which is characteristic
for its long lifetime and being an excellent base for potential tuning.
Inside the replica is a two-way going piston head; reinforced, ball bearing
spring guide and 7 mm ball bearings.
The
replica comes with a polymer Hi-Cap magazine with a capacity of up to 500 BBs.

NiCd
rechargeable battery is characterized by high efficiency
current-carrying capacity, but there are disruptive effect on memory.
Should be unloaded and loaded in the full cycle, ie, it is recommended
to fully discharge, and after unloading must charge the battery
immediately without leaving it for a long time in a discharged state.
NiMH batteries have a higher self-discharge over time and shorten the
life - on the other hand, they earn about 30% more capacity.
Blow back is a simulation system of the cocking lever - it imitates the work of it as the equivalent sharp. This system raises the realism and adds a lot more experience during shooting.
It is the spped of bb, while its leaving the innerbarrel of replica. This speed is measured in FPS (Feet Per Second).

Indications v2, v3, v6 does not mean the level of advance, but only shape of gearbox skeleton which was used and selected by the manufacturer depending on the capabilities of the body of the replica. For example, a models of the M4/M16 family, MP5, have a v2 gearbox, while the AK family have gearbox v3.
Hop-Up system is used for overclocking bb during the shot (putting it in rotation), through which, it extends its flight path. Acting laws of physics make that bb lift up, while the gravitational force take it down. Appropriate adjustment of Hop-Up, will compensate for these two factors, which result in long and straight flight for longer distance and be greater focus shot (to improve accuracy).
